You do not need an evaluation for this one, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What it is
Saskatchewan's main residential retrofit rebate is gone, and we would rather say that than keep a page up implying otherwise. What remains, per the utilities' own pages, is SaskPower's Energy Assistance Program for qualifying customers and SaskEnergy's Residential Equipment Replacement Rebate, First Nations Furnace Replacement Rebate and Heating Affordability Program. Saskatchewan now has one of the thinnest retrofit stacks in the country, which makes the federal mortgage-insurance refunds unusually worth chasing here.
Dates and status
Ended April 2026. Both utilities confirm it.
The issuing body does not publish amounts for this programme on its own page, so we do not reproduce any here. If somebody quotes you a number for it, ask them where it came from.
