These terms apply to energy evaluations, audits, reports and related services provided by EnerSolution Inc.
An energy evaluation is a modelled assessment of a building's energy performance based on measurements taken on the day of the visit. It is not a home inspection, not a structural survey, not an appraisal and not a warranty. It does not assess the condition of the building, the safety of its systems beyond the combustion safety checks described in the report, or the presence of hazardous materials.
Modelled savings are modelled. They describe what the model predicts under standard operating assumptions. Actual consumption depends on how the building is used, on the weather, and on the quality of the work carried out.
We prepare and, where you ask, submit programme applications. We do not control programme decisions, budgets, processing times or rule changes, and we cannot guarantee that any rebate, loan or incentive will be approved or paid. Programmes close, sometimes without notice.
What we will do is tell you what a programme's own published page says at the time you ask, with the date we checked it and a link to that page.
An evaluation requires access to the attic hatch, the mechanical room, the electrical panel and all conditioned areas. Where access is not available the model relies on assumptions, which are recorded in the report. Information you supply about the building is relied on as given.
Fees are quoted before the appointment. An appointment cancelled with less than twenty-four hours' notice, or where access is not available on arrival, may be charged.
Our liability in respect of any service is limited to the fee paid for that service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited at law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there.
