EnerSolution Inc. collects personal information in order to carry out energy evaluations and audits, submit programme applications on behalf of clients, and respond to enquiries. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do.
From enquiries and bookings: your name, contact details, the address of the building, and whatever you tell us about the project. From an evaluation: measurements and photographs of the building, its systems and its energy consumption, together with the modelling outputs those produce. From this website: standard server logs, and the referring page and campaign parameters if you arrived from an advertisement.
To do the work, to submit programme applications where you have asked us to, to meet the record-keeping obligations attached to our NRCan Service Organization licence, and to contact you about your file.
Our own staff and the registered energy advisor assigned to your file. Natural Resources Canada, because evaluation files are submitted into the EnerGuide Rating System under our licence. The administrator of any programme you have asked us to apply to — a utility, a province or a municipality — and only the information that programme requires.
We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to contractors. If we give you contractor names, we give them to you; we do not give you to them.
Enquiry and booking submissions from this website are transmitted to our office by email through a third-party form service. Evaluation data is held in our own systems and in NRCan's, in Canada.
Evaluation files are retained for the period our Service Organization licence requires, and for as long as a programme may need them re-submitted. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for two years and then deleted.
A copy of what we hold about you, a correction to anything inaccurate, and deletion of anything we are not required to retain. Write to the office. We will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and you do not need our permission to do so.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party trackers. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts and submits forms to a third-party form service; both see your IP address in the course of doing that.
