F280 for HVAC contractors

A permit-ready load calculation, turned around fast, without a sales agenda.

HVAC contractors need CSA F280 calculations for permits and increasingly for programme eligibility, and most do not want to build the capability in house for the volume they do.

We produce them as a service: room-by-room design heating and cooling loads, room-by-room airflow, and the report in the form a permit reviewer accepts. Turnaround is usually two to three working days from drawings.

The reason contractors use an independent firm rather than a manufacturer's tool is that we are not sizing towards an answer. We do not sell equipment. If the calculation says the house needs a two-tonne unit, that is what the report says, and a reviewer who has seen three oversized submissions this week notices.

Note again that HOT2000 does not qualify for F280. Different calculation, different purpose, routinely rejected.
