Making the systems you already have run the way they were meant to.

Most commercial HVAC energy is wasted by control rather than by equipment. Schedules that do not match occupancy, economisers that no longer modulate, simultaneous heating and cooling in the same zone, static pressure setpoints set once at commissioning and never reset, and a building automation system with three hundred overrides nobody has reviewed.

We trend the system rather than inspect it. A week of trend data on supply temperature, valve position, damper position and zone demand will show you things that a walkthrough cannot, because the failures are intermittent and time-dependent.

This work overlaps with recommissioning and in Ontario it frequently qualifies under the same Save on Energy programmes. Where the measure is genuinely a replacement rather than a correction, the Retrofit Program covers up to fifty per cent of eligible costs — and note that several incentive rates changed on 30 June 2026.
