This programme requires a pre-retrofit and a post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation by a registered energy advisor working under a licensed Service Organization. That is what we are.
Book the evaluationThis is the programme that built the modern Canadian retrofit industry, and the one most people still ring us about. It is finished. It committed roughly $1.8 billion and reached more than 400,000 households at an average grant of about $4,430. It required a pre-retrofit and a post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation through a licensed Service Organization, which is how most Canadians met an energy advisor for the first time. Nothing federal has replaced it on the same terms. What is open now is either income-tested, provincial, municipal, or attached to a mortgage — and several of those still need the same evaluation.

The issuing body does not publish amounts for this programme on its own page, so we do not reproduce any here. If somebody quotes you a number for it, ask them where it came from.
