HERA is finished — fully subscribed, along with the residential solar rebate. Edmonton's Clean Energy Improvement Program is the live route: $3,000 to $50,000 at 6.00% fixed for up to twenty years, with an EnerGuide evaluation required at application and again after the work. It is near capacity and waitlists after 150 submissions, so this is not a next-spring decision.
This programme requires a pre-retrofit and a post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation by a registered energy advisor working under a licensed Service Organization. That is what we are.

A registered energy advisor comes to the house for two to three hours. Every assembly is measured rather than estimated, the mechanical systems are recorded, and a blower door test establishes the actual air leakage rate. That goes into HOT2000, the federal modelling software, and comes back as an EnerGuide rating, a label and a Renovation Upgrade Report listing the measures that would improve it and by how much.
If your programme requires a post-retrofit evaluation — and most of the good ones do — we come back after the work and measure what actually changed. Several programmes require the same advisor for both visits, which is worth knowing before you book the first one.
